Parsa’s Perspective: New Year’s Greeting 2024

Hello everyone, December 13, 2023

As we begin the year 2024, I extend my warmest wishes to all of you for a year full of happiness, good health, and success. In the previous year, our community united to celebrate moments and seize opportunities. I would like to take a moment to look back at all the things we achieved and express my gratitude towards everyone who put their trust in me to advocate for them and make sure their voices are heard.

January, the gateway to the New Year, serves as an opportunity for us all to visualize our hopes, dreams, and resolutions. This time of the year encourages us to assess our accomplishments, learn from our experiences, and lead a life with dedication to our personal growth. The significance of New Year’s and the month of January lies in the capacity to inspire change. They remind us that, regardless of our past, we have the opportunity to shape our future. Resolutions, like beacons of intention, light the path of self-improvement. This act of self-reflection symbolizes the commitment to evolving into the best versions of ourselves.

This past March I was honoured to be appointed by Premier Ford as the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services. It is a pleasure to serve individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, including children, families, seniors, and people with disabilities.

We have achieved and succeeded in many things over the past year. The moments we have shared over the past year have been great examples of how we can all come together to celebrate and share experiences regardless of our differences.

I wish everyone all the best in 2024 and I know that with your continued support, we will make this year the best. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year filled with joy, peace, and happiness. I look forward to continuing to serve you as a Member of Provincial Parliament.

Sincerely,

Hon. Michael Parsa, MPP

Minister of Children, Community and Social Services
