Aurora, ON – On Friday, MPP Michael Parsa announced via video that Addiction Services Central Ontario was awarded an $18,000 Capital grant earlier this summer from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). The six-month grant is being used to improve and enhance accessibility for clients, staff and visitors to its main office in Aurora. This project will help to create a space where staff, clients and visitors are able to access the main office in a more accessible manner.
“Our government is proud to support community organizations that put people first. Thanks to an $18,000 Capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Addiction Services Central Ontario will be making its Aurora office more accessible to clients, staff, and visitors alike,” said Michael Parsa, MPP for Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill. “The installation of accessible doors is a meaningful step in creating a more inclusive environment, because everyone should be able to access the care they need without barriers.”
